Description

The proposed side event will explore the participation and representation of Indigenous people in the climate negotiations and decisions from Paris Agreement to COP28. Especially focusing on the questions like how is the general trend of climate initiatives around the globe from the perspective of Indigenous people and climate justice? How impactful those efforts have been? and How has climate and environmental negotiations and initiatives narrated Indigenous People rights?

Revolving around these questions, our side event aims to host speakers from various regions regularly involved in the climate negotiations and action in the ground to share their experiences and knowledge.
