There are unprecedented wildfires in northern Canada and Alaska that have forced Athabaskan Peoples and others to evacuate their homes and territories. Emergency management and preparedness is the key to future disasters .

The wildfires also have a huge impact on fish , wildlife and the environment. We would like to discuss this and educate others about our current situation.
